Networking at Lotusphere? IdoCheckin !
Over at IdoNotes (and sleep), top notch social networker Chris Miller is launching a brand new initiative for Lotusphere. By utilizing a location awareness service from Brightkite and mapping the most interesting locations and venues at Lotusphere, Chris and Martin have made it possible for 8000 Lotusphere attendees to easily locate each other in the chaos of lemmings looking for each other (and bars to hang out in).By "checking in" to locations by email or text messaging from your cell phone, you can not only let others know where YOU are, but also get information about who of your connections are close by. You can "join" your connections at locations and even post notes and photos related to locations.
